The HMS Networks Group is the leading international provider of industrial data communications solutions, employing more than 600 people in 16 countries worldwide.

Within the HMS Group, HMS Industrial Networks GmbH in Karlsruhe has around 60 employees and is responsible for the sales, marketing and technical support of all HMS brands in continental Europe. With more than 2000 active customers and over 40 % of Group sales, we cover the largest sales area in the HMS Group.

To further expand our sales activities in Italy, we are now looking to fill the following position in our Milan office or home office:

Channel Partner Manager (m/f/d)


Your tasks:

  • You will develop joint sales strategies together with our distributors and system integrators 
  • You will visit our distributors regularly to maintain good contact and cooperation and you will keep your partners up to date regarding the latest technology
  • In order to further promote the sale of our communication solutions and expand our distribution network, you will take an active approach on the market, make new contacts and develop them into trusting business relationships
  • You are a great team player, so projects in cooperation with colleagues from Direct Sales, Marketing or the Technical Services department run smoothly
  • You always think outside the box – cross selling is in your blood
  • Your open-mindedness makes you a highly valued discussion partner at our trade fairs

Your qualification:

  • You have professional experience in the sales of technical products requiring intensive consulting and have already gained experience in dealing with distributors, especially at decision-making level
  • You have obtained a degree or completed relevant training in the fields of electrical engineering/ automation technology and have specialist knowledge on these subjects. It would be an advantage if you had some knowledge and experience in the field of building automation and on the HVACR market segment
  • You are fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German would be a plus
  • One of your great assets is your knowledge about markets and customers in Italy
  • You are successful thanks to your high degree of self-motivation, perseverance and persuasiveness
  • You are of course always willing to travel
